We're planning a 2026 trip to WDW and a stay at Coronado Springs. The Mercardo breakfast menu has no potato barrels only hash browns. Are potato barrels available? Crazy question I know but..........

Hey there, Wayne! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your delicious dining question with us.

I love answering questions about snacks and food, so your potato barrel question is in no way crazy to me. It gives me a chance to dig into the different menus of Coronado Springs Resort’s dining options, and now I’m hungry. But no time for snacks! It’s on to your question!

I looked at the menus for the resort’s breakfast options—El Mercado de Coronado, Rix Sports Bar and Grill, and Barcelona Lounge—and just as you noted, there do not appear to be potato barrels at any of these locations. Walt Disney World menus are fairly specific, and I did see other menus specifically mention potato barrels (more on that in a second), so unfortunately, they just may not be available at Coronado Springs. That being said, I would talk to a friendly Cast Member to see if they might have any in the back. You never know unless you ask!

Now I know what you’re wondering. “Where can I find potato barrels?” I’ve got you covered, Wayne! Here is a partial list of the dining locations that serve potato barrels (menu items subject to change and availability).

    - Woody’s Lunch Box at Hollywood Studios
    - Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios
    - Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music Resort
    - World Premiere Food Court at All-Star Movies Resort
    - End Zone Food Court at All-Star Sports Resort
    - Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge Resort
    - Everything POP Shopping & Dining at POP Century Resort
    - The Friar's Nook at Magic Kingdom

You can also search “potato barrels” in the My Disney Experience mobile app and a list of dining locations that have potato barrels on their menu will pop up. I’ve found that this isn’t the most perfect search method, though, because some restaurant locations included in the search results mention potatoes on their menus, but didn’t have potato barrels, specifically. So it’s not perfect, but it helps narrow down your dining options.

I hope this information helps with your holiday planning, Wayne. Pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Bon appétit and magical travels!
