We are planning a trip to WDW this spring and heard that we may be able to attend a Meet & Greet with BB-8 at the Star Wars Launch Bay at Hollywood Studios. Do you know when the first day BB-8 will be there? We don't want to miss him!

    Hi Helen,

There were squeals of joy at my house when we heard that BB-8 would begin greeting guests at Star Wars Launch Bay at Hollywood Studios this spring. We can't wait to meet him! The announcement was made on the Disney Parks Blog earlier this month. The date of BB-8's debut hasn't been made public yet, so we're all keeping an eye on the blog.

I'm sorry I don't have anything definitive for you, Helen. I'm hoping the lovable droid shows up in time to meet you and your family.

Meanwhile, if you have any other questions about planning your Walt Disney World visit, please let us know. The Disney Parks Moms Panel members are always eager to help. May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Wilma, Florida

We live 90 miles from Walt Disney World and have visited frequently for 20 years. Disney is the place our family can relax together, try new things (especially interesting food) and have conversations, no matter what park we visit or where we stay.
