We are planning a trip to WDW soon. We'll be selecting the dining plan. Wondering the difference between quick service and table service?

    Hi Lance!

Congratulations on your first trip to Disney World!!!  I hate to sound like a commercial, but you will be saving some serious money by choosing the dining plan - You can always use the money that you save to buy souvenirs!

A quick service eatery is very similar to a food court or fast food restaraunt.  You order your meal at a counter, wait for it and then seat yourself.  On the other hand, a table service meal includes everything that you would expect from a typical restaurant.  It is very important to note that in order to get into most table service options, you must make Advance Dining Reservations 90 days before your check-in date.  Nearly all of the menus for Disney World can be found at Allearsnet.com.  It is so helpful to check them out when planning your dining choices!

    Much pixie dust,
