    We are planning a trip to WDW soon. We are eligible to stay at Shades of Green. Are we able to use the Monorail system? What is the average time it takes to travel to the parks? We will be traveling with 4 children all under the age of 7.

    Hi Michelle,

    Thanks so much for your question. While Shades of Green Resort isn't right on the Disney Monorail line, it is very close to Disney's Polynesian Resort. You can walk over right next door to the Polynesian and catch the Resort Monorail. The monorail is very fast, and fun, so it will only take you minutes to reach Magic Kingdom. I think the longest ride we've ever had on the monorail was about 10 to 12 minutes, since there were lots of guests catching the Monorail at each Resort stop.
