We are planning our trip to WDW for my son's 6th birthday with lunch in Norway to celebrate. I ordered him a balloon with his name on it, can I drop the balloon and present off at the restaurant earlier in the day and have it waiting at our table for him?

    Hi Jessica,

Your little Prince will have such a magical birthday celebration at the Askershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway.  Your idea of making it extra special with an added surprise is fantastic!

I checked with a Cast Member in dining reservations today and she confirmed you are allowed to drop off the balloon and present to the restaurant ahead of time.  Just make sure you let the staff know when your reservation is and your instructions for the surprise.  When returning later for your reservation, make sure you let the host staff know as well, to ensure everything goes as planned.

Have a magical trip creating many wonderful memories with your son!  Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with and please wish him a very happy birthday from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Wishes,

    Lauren
