Hi Carolina!
A first visit and a sisters' trip all in one! You two are in for an enchanting time at
Walt Disney World!
The theme parks have multiple attractions suitable for expectant mothers. From
Spaceship Earth to
"it's a small world" to
Jungle Cruise, you and your sister will find plenty of delightful experiences.
The Enchanted Tiki Room,
Mickey's PhilharMagic, the amazing nighttime spectaculars, and other no movement experiences and shows offer an abundance of entertainment your sister may safely enjoy. Thrill rides, tamer coasters like
The Barnstormer Starring the Great Goofini, and the bumpy
Kilimanjaro Safaris are some of the rides that will need to wait until your sister's second visit after her baby arrives. Check the
attractions page and filter by "expectant mothers advisory" to see what rides your sister may safely enjoy.
Plan to make a few accommodations for your sister; a first trimester visit to the mouse requires a slower, more relaxed pace. Tiredness can quickly escalate to overwhelming exhaustion at this stage in pregnancy, so time spent on "rest rides" like the
Carousel of Progress, seated indoor shows, or
Living with the Land are a must. Consider making a few
dining reservations to build in breaks and time off your feet.
Baby Care Centers in each park offer a cool, quiet spot for a respite from the hustle of the parks if needed. As a veteran park mom, I suggest your sister take a midday nap break and eat as much Mickey shaped ice cream as she desires.
Enjoy your trip for two-soon-to-be-three to see Mickey!
