Hello, Matt and welcome back to planDisney!
With plans in the works for early September, your Magical vacation will be hEAR before you know it! How exciting!
Matt, from your question it looks like you’ve already purchased tickets and made your
Disney Park Pass reservation for three days of your 4-day ticket. As a guest who loves to balance planning with spontaneity, I appreciate your conundrum.
As any holiday tends to bring more crowds, I would encourage you to select the park you’re most likely to want to visit and secure a Disney Park Pass for that park
now. As your vacation gets closer you can always cancel that reservation and rebook at another park (pending availability). You can even do this the morning of September 6th should you change your mind (and you see park availability). Take a look at
THIS question and answer about changing park reservations. My family recently returned from a trip where we had a “bonus” day and because the number one priority of my kids was to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, our strategy was to secure a Disney Park Pass reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios on our “bonus” day in case we weren’t able to get a boarding group on that first dedicated day. Guests who are traveling to experience all the options at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival might have the same approach for EPCOT.
Matt, I hope this gives you some things to ponder as you’re deciding on your best course of action for your upcoming Labor Day vacation. If you have additional questions, please come on back to planDisney where we love to help guests even more than Mike Wazowski loves a comedy routine.
