Hi all! Planning 1st trip to WDW in 2016!! With school holidays our only options are 25 Mar-8 Apr or between 16 Jul-13 Aug. Summer gives most flex on dates, but I'm worried about the weather! When do you think is the best time please? Thanks

    Jo:

The word "best" means a lot of things to most people but it sounds like weather may be your top priority. Your March and April dates are BY FAR the best for weather over July and August. The humidity is lower as well as the temperatures and the chance of afternoon showers are not as high nor hurricanes.

Crowds can be a factor with either of your dates. Easter next year is March 27 and will bring large Spring Break crowds toward the beginning of a spring vacation for you. However, your summer dates will also see large crowds as most of the U.S. is out of school for the summer. What makes a difference for me, though, is that I can better manage crowds and the long lines they bring if the weather isn't sweltering near the high 90's...so March/April is my recommendation.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
