Planning our 1st trip to WDW 03/ 2012, have a question on making dining reservations. We have the dinning plan iit says we have to use a credit card to reserve. Will the card be charged the price, or is this just to hold the reservation? On a tight budget

    Hi Andrea!

I think that we have all tightened our budgets these days!!!  I am so happy that Walt Disney World has so many options for those of us who want to enjoy a fabulous vacation and not spend a fortune.  As you are on the Dining Plan, I have great news for ya!  Certain meals, such as Cinderella's Royal Table, will require a credit card guarantee; however, it will NOT be charged at that time.  This is only true for those guests who have the dining plan.  Rather, if you miss your reservation and do not cancel in the time specified, your card will be charged a cancellation fee.  So go ahead and make those "ressies" and enjoy!

    Much pixie dust,
