Hello. I am planning a trip to WDW. Are there any promos for tickets for the week of new years, will there be any released from now until then? If so when will they possible be released. Such as %off rooms, magic tickets, etc. Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney Michelle, and thank you for swinging by with your questions.

Well, I wanna start by saying I love a good deal and I am always looking to save money on my vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. All of those savings usually end up going towards Mickey-shaped treats in the long run. When we are planning we usually start on the Vacation Planning Page. When I checked the Special Offers page there are some terrific deals. The latest dates for this year go all the way to the last week of the year, December 25, 2023 is the last day. I would recommend booking the dates and room that you are interested in. Leading up to your visit if at least 30 days before your stay there is a special offer with your dates you can apply them and switch to the new promotion without having to cancel and rebook your accommodations. Every dollar saved is a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar earned. I think that's how the saying goes.

If you are planning on spending the day in one park I would recommend EPCOT. This park is known for knowing how to ring in the new year. I think World Showcase really shines on the holidays. You can visit each pavilion and see how they ring in the new year. There are always new things to learn about each country represented in World Showcase. For the thrill seekers in your life, I always make sure to mention Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You will need to download the My Disney Experience App so you can enter the Virtual Queue to obtain a boarding pass. If you miss out on the first Virtual Queue at 7 a.m. you can try again at 1 p.m. This attraction has it all. The ride queue is so cool and detailed that there is always something to look at while you are traveling through. Check out the ceiling, a lot of the action goes on there. This rollercoaster has taken over as my favorite of all time, after one ride it cemented itself at the top. This coaster takes you and the Guardians to defeat a giant. Rocket, Starlord, and Groot have their usual tunes on and take you on a ride to once again save the galaxy.

I hope this information is helpful in planning and budgeting for your next visit. Keep an eye on that Special Offers page leading up to your visit and you'll be sure to secure the best deal for your stay. Visit us again at planDisney.com for any other help planning your visit.

    See ya real soon,
