We are planning a trip to WDW in October and I was looking at booking Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast. We are staying at the Grand Floridian. How far ahead of our reservation should we leave the hotel? Would a 8am or 9am reservation be better?

    Hi Tessa!

This sounds like a magical trip!  The Grand Floridian is such a beautiful resort, it is definitely one of my favorites.

Since you are just a quick monorail trip away from the Magic Kingdom, I would recommend leaving about 45 minutes to an hour before your reservation time.  The monorails begin running about one hour before the parks open, so definitely check at your resort desk to find out transportation schedules for that morning.

One thing to consider is that an earlier reservation will get you inside the park before most guests.  If the park opens at 9 a.m., you could be inside before anyone who doesn't have advanced dining reservations. This is often a great time to get some pictures on a nearly deserted Main Street U.S.A.  There is something really special about seeing the park "wake up".

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical vacation.
