    Planning a trip to WDW October 2017. Do you know when River of Light dinner package will open up to schedule?

    This is one of the most frequently asked questions right now, as Guests are excited about Animal Kingdom Park's newest nighttime offering, Rivers of Light. I'm happy to hear you're looking ahead and making plans to not only see the show, but enjoy the benefits of the Rivers of Light Dining Package.

    At this time, the Rivers of Light Dining Package is only offered through the end of September, but hopefully the dates will soon be extended into the fall. I encourage you to keep an eye on the Rivers of Light Dining Package page for any openings in October. Other great sources of the most up-to-date Walt Disney World Resort theme park information are the Disney Parks Blog or Walt Disney World on Twitter.

    I have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation planned in October, and I'm waiting on the edge of my seat, right along with you, for these packages to become available. Hopefully we won't have to wait very long!

    Moms Panel Tip: With an October Disney vacation on your horizon, make sure to check out Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It's my very favorite special event at Walt Disney World all year. It's simply spooktacular!
