Hi, Planning a trip to WDW Oct/Nov 2018. We're thinking Oct 30 - Nov 8, 2018. What are the crowds like Halloween day? Yeah, it's Disney, but, I still don't like crowds :o)

Hello Daniel! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Like you, I love Walt Disney World Resort vacations but am not a fan of crowds. Some of the Guest videos taken on particularly busy days at Magic Kingdom even make me nervous.

One of the reasons I love planning my Walt Disney World resort vacations is that solid planning helps you to avoid the busier days and even busier attractions on even the busiest of days at a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park.

In your case Daniel, October 31st is a tale of two experiences. Historically, the day of Halloween sees lighter-than-average crowds at Magic Kingdom due to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party making Regular Guests exit the Theme Park by 7:00pm for the party. Many Guests avoid Magic Kingdom that day and others will partake only in the Halloween Celebration after.

Between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm, Guests are generally allowed in early for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Regular Theme Park Guests are still in attendance, making for the busiest time of day at Magic Kingdom. To experience both requires the purchase of Regular Theme Park Admission and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Special Ticket.

Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are historically not too crowded on Halloween day, while Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park always feels a little crowded due to Star Wars Land And Toy Story Land construction.

    Good Luck with the Crowds!
