We are planning a trip to WDW in oct 2010. We will be going to DD quite often, which resort do you recommend Saratoga Springs or the French quarter? We will have our boy who is 12 and our girl who is 7. Thanks.

Hello Sean!  Although October 2010 seems so far away, it will be here in a flash.  I love to prepare my reservations well in advance and know all is ready.  So you are off to a great start!  I have experienced both resorts and have been very pleased.  I generally would not favor one over the other, but considering that you will frequent DD, I would personally choose Saratoga Springs.  Saratoga Springs is a walk, bus or boat ride away from DD.  The French Quarter does offer bus transportation to DD as well.  Please compare both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for any additional details as well.  You will find the French Quarter under the moderate resort pricing and Saratoga Springs in the deluxe villa resort pricing.  Either resort will offer great memories.  I hope your stay is filled with great times!
