Hi we are planning a trip to WDW in Oct. (5 days) and I am trying to formulate a plan we have the deluxe dining plan. we would like to do a few character meals but I still do not really understand how it works? Our date are 10/15/15-10/20/15 please HELP

    Hi JoAnn,

You've come to the right place - we can definitely help!

Since you have the deluxe dining plan, I'd definitely recommend that you make advance dining reservations (often abbreviated to ADRs) for your vacation. You can do that for any table service restaurant (plus Be Our Guest) 180 days prior to your check-in date. It's a good idea to review all of your options and make a list prior to going online or calling for your reservations. This page on the Disney website explains how you can make your dining reservations.

Character meals are always popular, so to get your top choices, definitely make those reservations in advance. With the character meals, you'll get to enjoy your meal while the characters visit all of the tables, greeting guests, signing autographs, and posing for photos. It's a great way to be sure that you see the characters that are on your must-see list. I'm not sure of the ages of the children in your party, but if you want to write back and ask another question, we can give you some character meal suggestions.

I hope that helps! If I didn't answer all of your questions, be sure to ask additional questions.

    Have a great vacation!
