Hi Moms, we're planning a trip to WDW in November and are considering staying at a hotel across from Downtown disney and I was wondering about the reliability of the shuttles to and from the parks? Lori from Montreal, Canada

    Hi there Lori!

I have stayed at both Disney Resorts and those found inside the Downtown Disney Resort area. While Disney's transportation system runs very efficiently, the other resort buses are a little slower. This does not mean that they are not good just that they do not run as often as Disney's resort buses.

When you arrive at your resort, make sure to speak with someone at the front desk to see if they have a bus schedule. The buses will run between all of the Downtown Disney resorts picking up guests from other resorts on the way to the final destination. When you arrive at your destination, your driver will tell you where to return and the last pick up time for that day. I found the transportation to be adequate and you should be just fine using the non Disney resort buses.
