We are planning a trip to WDW in Nov 2011 with our 4 yr old. I understand Fantasyworld and Toontown are under Construction. Can you tell me if any attractions will be shut down in Nov. 2011

    Hello James,

I will admit, while I can't wait to see what magic will be unveiled in Fantasyland, I am sad to say that Toontown will close in early February, 2011.

I know my daughter will miss peeking her head into Mickey and Minnie's houses in Toontown, but I simply remind myself that the Magic Kingdom is undergoing a historic expansion. You can expect most of the new Fantasyland attractions to be open by 2013.

Before my family vacations, I always call Guest Services at 407-WDW-MAGIC to check on what rides may be closed for refurbishment during our visit. Or I visit the theme park calendars to see what attractions may not be operating.

Wishing you blue skies and open attractions! Enjoy your trip!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
