    Am planning our 1st trip to WDW in Nov and want to find the perfect place for my girls (7&5). Looking at the contemporary, polynesian, or VWL, there are 6 of us. Does the poly have a lot of "fire" entertainment? My 7yo is terrified of fire! S

    Thanks for writing.  The Polynesian has tiki-style torches that line the property and are lit in the evenings.  If your seven-year-old will be bothered by these open flames (they are high up and out of reach, but lit, nevertheless) you may want to consider another resort.  Part of the Spirit of Aloha Show (the special event luau held nightly) also features fire, so you would want to avoid this.  There are many fantastic deluxe resorts that I'm sure would help ensure your little boy has a magical trip!  The Contemporary and Grand Floridian are both also on the monorail line (like the Poly) and are great options!  Happy planning!
