I am planning a trip to WDW from Nov. 30-Dec.5, 2009. Does anyone know, can you bring in any snacks or lucnh with you?? My 6 yr. old grand-daughter has severe allergies and i need to be very careful as to what she eats...Thanks

    Hi Alicia!

You can absolutely bring your own food into the parks. We always bring along snacks, bottles of water and juice boxes to help save money and avoid standing in long lines throughout the day. I would suggest packing your lunch and other items in a small soft sided cooler bag and storing it in a locker until you're ready to eat.

If you plan on making reservations at any of the restaurants on Disney property, be sure to tell the cast member making your ADRs about your granddaughter's allergies. They will make the restaurant aware, and will work with you to prepare a meal that is safe for her to eat. When you arrive for your meal, remind the hostess or your server and they will be able to send the chef to your table to discuss what things she can and can't eat. Disney really does everything they can to accommodate special diets.

I hope this helps! Have a wonderful vacation!
