We are planning a trip to WDW next Spring. At that time I will have a 6 year old, 4 year old and a 15 month old. Which resort in the park would be best for 3 children, one of which is an infant? Thank you.

    Hi Allison,

If it's in your budget to stay at a deluxe resort, I would certainly recommend it. Polynesian or Contemporary would be my top choices with children of this age. Both are located conveniently close to Magic Kingdom which makes leaving the park midday for nap time easy. Contemporary is great because you can actually walk to Magic Kingdom. If you ever plan on staying up until the fireworks (which you may not with young children), it's so nice to be able to bypass the crowds and walk back to your resort.

Both resorts have fun character dining. I would give a slight nod to Polynesian for your family. The rooms are slightly bigger. I'm not sure if your little one will be in a bed yet, but if a pack and play is needed, it's nice to have the extra room. The sandy beaches are great for some relaxing sand castle building. You can't swim in the lake, but the pool is just steps away.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
