We are planning a trip to WDW for next Fall (2013) and staying at the AoA Resort. Is the weather in early to mid-October still good for swimming? Thanks:)

    Hi Sonya!

The weather in central Florida in mid October tends to be beautiful with temperatures reaching as high as 80. The pools at all Walt Disney World resorts are kept a warm eighty degrees year round so swimming is certainly possible during October. My Carolina raised children who are only used to mild winters swam happily in a resort pool this February. Your cold hardy Indiana kids should have no trouble cannon balling straight into the water this fall.

    Enjoy your pool time!
