We are planning a trip to WDW next August. He will be 10 next year and will not fall into the kids dining plan. I am concerned that A) He will have a hard time picking something he will like, and B) It will be WAY too much food if he does find something.

    Hi Marc!

I have great news for you, anyone can order a children's meal in Walt Disney World! All you have to do is ask for it. My son who is thirteen often orders from the kid's menu and I have even done it once or twice! The only exception to this is for a buffet style meal, where adults (ages 10 and up) will have to be the adult price regardless of how much food that they choose to eat.  So if your son doesn't see anything that he likes on the adult menu, then he can order from the children's menu.  You are right that the adult portions are large in Walt Disney World!

I hope that you have a magical time dining around Walt Disney World on your next trip!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
