Hi, we are planning a trip to WDW mid March to celebrate our kids milestone birthdays, our daughter will be 21 and our son will be 13. We are booked at the Caribbean Resort. What ideas can you provide to me to make this the most magical trip possible.

    Hello there, Andrea!

What a fun vacation you are planning. Just last summer we took our oldest on a solo trip to celebrate his 13th birthday and it was a blast. It was a milestone celebration he certainly won't forget.

When I'm planning a special experience for one of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I like to take a look at the Special Events and Tours to see if there is one that I think we would all enjoy together. Luckily, there are a ton of different options. While they are all impressive, I really enjoyed the Wild Africa Trek and the Epcot Seas Adventure - Aqua Tour.  Both  of these are awesome tours and will be one-of-a-kind experiences to make your trip unique and memorable.

When we were celebrating my son's birthday, what I found he liked most was that we gave him the freedom to plan the whole day. I let him choose which park(s) we visited, which FastPass+ selections we made, where we ate, what we rode, etc.. He couldn't help but ask what we should do next and each time we replied, "You choose, it's your day," he would get a huge smile on his face. He still talks about how much fun it was to be in charge! Perhaps each of your children can plan or help plan a day in the magic? You might be surprised at what experiences they choose.

Have a wonderful trip, Andrea, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
