    Hi, I am planning a trip WDW for mid August. We will have a party of six including two adults, two teens and two young children 5 and 7. I am wondering which resorts would be best suited for us? Would you suggest two ajoining rooms or a suite? I am conside

    Hi Marian,

    When my family travels, we really like to stay in suite or villa accommodations.  I think that the benefit of these over two adjoining rooms is that with a suite or villa, you also typically have a common area and a kitchenette or kitchen.  My family really enjoys relaxing at our resort, so the common space as well as place to prepare snacks or meals is really important to us.  Let me give you some options for these types of accommodations at Walt Disney World.

    You could book a family suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  These resorts are both really fun, and the suites do accommodate six guests.  Another option that I really like is the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  All of these can sleep up to six guests; however, the suites have two bathrooms and a mini-kitchen, whereas the cabins have a full kitchen and only one bathroom.

    Another option for you would be to look at two-bedroom villas at the Disney Vacation Club Villas properties.  These can sleep up to eight or nine guests, and would give you the most space.  With these, you would also have at least two bathrooms.  Two-bedroom villas are available at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - both Kidani Village and Jambo House, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Resort, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Although these are all Disney Vacation Club resorts, there is some availability for booking them using traditional payment methods such as a credit card
