Planning our 1st trip to WDW in May '11. Bringing son 9 and daughter 6 both not big on riding rides. Want to visit MK & DHS. Do U recommend 1 day tckt w/PH to visit both parks or to visit each park separately?Wont be riding rides what do you recommend?

    Hello Cindy!!!

Yeah...your first trip to Disney World!!!  You all are going to LOVE it!!!

I would recommend your family purchasing a two day Magic Your Way Base Ticket.  There is so much to do at each of these parks (even if your children do not ride the attractions), and I think you will feel so rushed trying to see two parks in one day.  It also takes about 45 minutes to travel between the parks if you use the Disney Bus Transportation System, so you can see you would be using precious time traveling between Disney Parks.

Since you will not be riding any of the attractions, just click on the Disney Theme Park names below to find ALL the fun and MAGICAL things you can do:

    Magic Kingdom

    Hollywood Studios

Another great idea is to make a Disney Dining Advanced Reservation for each park!!!  Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios provide some incredible restaurants that I know your whole family will enjoy!  For Magic Kingdom, I would recommend eating with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at The Crystal Palace!  For Hollywood Studios, I would recommend 50's Prime Time Cafe!  Both of these restaurants are incredible!!!  To make advanced reservations, click HERE or call 407-WDW-DINE.

I hope this helps in your planning.  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
