We are planning a trip to WDW March 2013 with our 2 grandkids and their Mommy & Daddy. The kids are 4 & 5, how early should we tell them about the trip?! We are so excited but with over a year to wait I'm not sure if they will understand.

Hi Marla!  What a great surprise!  Obviously, only you can decide when to tell them, but from personal experience, I usually wait until about a month before.  That way the kids will have plenty of time to get excited and plan their favorite rides...but not so long, that the excited will eventually turn into a whining "how much longer?" !!  One time, we didn't tell our boys until we got to the airport!  That was really fun!!  Anyway you go, it will be perfect!  Have a great trip!!!
