Hi Lucia,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question! I love that you’re already thinking ahead for next year and trying to map out the best days. Honestly, any day that includes flying high on
Dumbo the Flying Elephant with a
LeFou’s Brew from
Gaston’s Tavern sounds like a practically perfect Disney day to me.
So, Lucia, let’s jump right into your events. While the 2027
event calendar at
ESPN Wide World of Sports isn’t available yet, let’s take a look at current patterns to get a good idea of what to expect, but of course, this is all subject to change. This April into May, there are a couple of cheer competitions happening, and as a cheer mom myself, I can tell you this is when some of the best of the best take the stage. The energy in the parks when the cheer teams visit is simply incredible. If history repeats itself, you may see similar events around that same timeframe next year, but of course, this is all subject to change. I definitely recommend keeping an eye on the ESPN Wide World of Sports calendar as it updates.
If you’re hoping to save a little time while visiting the parks, I highly recommend looking into
Lightning Lane passes. There are a few different options, including
Single Lightning Lane Pass selections, which are used for one attraction.
Multi Pass Lightning Lane, and
Premier Pass, which can be used for multiple attractions. Each one can help you spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying your favorite attractions.
Also, don’t forget to take advantage of mobile ordering in the
My Disney Experience app. This is one of my favorite time-saving tips. You can place your food order while waiting in line for an attraction like
Peter Pan’s Flight, then tap “I’m here” when you arrive to pick it up. It’s such an easy way to keep your day moving.
Lucia, I hope this helps as you continue planning! If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
