We are planning a trip to WDW and would like to know if we are able to watch the midnight fireworks on New Years Eve (12/31/24) from the beach at the Polynesian resort if we are not resort guests but have a dinner reservation to Ohana. Thank you!

Hey Howdy Hey Toni and welcome to planDisney!

You are in for a real treat heading over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for dinner. 'Ohana is a great place to relax and enjoy the Hawaiian-flavored offerings. The resort itself is amazing and there will be so much to see and experience with your visit. That being said, let's talk about beach access for the fireworks that night.

Toni, I am happy to report that with your visit to the Polynesian, you are more than welcome to hang around and watch the fireworks from the beach. This location is my favorite place to watch the fireworks in Magic Kingdom when not in the parks. You get a great view of Cinderella Castle as well as have the music piped in for a Magical experience! Don't forget to drop by Pineapple Lanai before the show to enjoy a Dole Whip while you wait for a truly authentic Polynesian resort experience!

I'm sure this goes without saying but these fireworks are going to be amazing. No one puts on a show like Disney and is a big draw for so many. You are going to want to make sure you get your spot on the beach early, maybe about an hour or more in advance so that you can get the best seating. They will usually have chairs at the beach and you can move around if needed for the optimal experience.

Dinner at the Polynesian complimented by evening fireworks sounds like an amazing night. I hope you have a Magical time and feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.

    To Infinity and Beyond,
