Hello, Sharnee,
I'm limited on space, so I'll do my best to answer all your questions.
First: itinerary planning. Hands-down my go-to source for this is www.touringplans.com. Walks you through the must-sees and the order to visit them to reduce your waits in line with over 100 itineraries. It has a small fee, but is incredibly worthwhile to me.
Second: best tickets. This is tricker to answer since I don't know what you'd like to do. You might want to begin with the base Magic Your Way Ticket. Once you arrive at WDW and find you'd like to park hop or visit areas beyond the theme parks, you can add-on to your ticket (as long as you have entitlements left on your ticket & it is within 14 days of first use).
Third: where to stay. This is the trickiest because I'm not sure about your budget/needs. With a large party, you'll need more space. The
Deluxe Villas area great choices for this, but they are more costly. The cabins at
Ft. Wilderness accommodate 6 guests (I'm not sure of your total party number) at a lower rate, but you may find having 1 bathroom trickier. You may find booking two connecting rooms an option, too, in any of the resorts:
value,
moderate, or
deluxe. After taking a look at the resorts, please let us know what other questions you have. We can certainly provide you with more specifics about the resorts.
Thank you for visiting the 2012 Walt Disney World Moms Panel.
