We are planning a trip to WDW in June. It will be our little girl's first trip and we definitely want to do character dining. What is the best character dining experience in your opinion? Should we do a breakfast and a dinner, or just one experience?

    Hi Tabitha!

Your little princess will absolutely fall in love with the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort!

I would recommend booking at least two Disney Character Dining experiences. Perhaps a breakfast and a dinner would be in order. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) you might want to consider your options depending on how you wish to allocate your meal entitlements.

Since this is your daughter's first visit, I would suggest dining with Disney Princesses at one, or two, of three magical Disney Character Dining locations. The Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Dining Hall requires one DDP meal credit per person. Cinderella's Royal Table (CRT) in Magic Kingdom requires two DDP meal credits per person. Read more about CRT HERE.

At CRT you will have a unique fairytale photo opportunity with Cinderella before the entire family is escorted to the winding staircase leading up to the restaurant. With the price of your meal at CRT and Akershus, your family will receive an Imaging Package which includes the following prints: four 4"X6," and one 6"x8" in a themed photo holder.

During Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, your daughter will have the opportunity of meeting Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia. 1900 Park requires only one DDP meal credit per person. Be sure to book any of these Disney Character Dining experiences by calling (407) WDW-DINE or reserve online.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
