I am planning a trip to WDW in June I have booked the Saratoga Springs Resort for our family of 7(2 adults & 5 kids(7, 7, 7, 10, & 11).We chose a two bedroom villa and wonder if this is a good fit for us. Will this be a long ride to parks?

    Hi Tamara!

My family loves Saratoga Springs Resort!  This is one of our home resorts with Disney Vacation Club.  I think a two bedroom villa would suit your family just fine.  They comfortably sleep up to 8 people.  There is a king bed in the master, and a second bedroom with 2 queen beds, as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.  As long as your kids are ok with doubling up, this will be perfect!  If you think you will need more room, you can look into a Treehouse Villa at Saratoga Springs.  These sleep up to 9 people and have 3 bedrooms.

On the Walt Disney World map, it may look like Saratoga Springs is on the outskirts of the property, but in fact it’s really close to everything!  You’d be surprised how fast a Disney bus can get you to one of the parks using the back roads.  My favorite part of this resort is how close you are to Downtown Disney.  You can either walk or take a lovely ferry boat ride over to the shopping and dining!

    Enjoy!
