Planning trip to WDW in July/Aug 2010. Our kids are 3 & 6. My husband thinks they (esp 3 yr old) is too young for such a trip. What are your recommendations for a 3 & 6 yr old and is there ever a "too young" to go to WDW?

Hi Amy! I believe 3 and 6 are excellent ages to visit Disney. Magic Kingdom is perfect for their ages! Coincidentally, we visited WDW for 12 days last summer, with my 6 and 3 year old kids. I have to say we had a Wonderful time. It was very hot, but an extremely hydrated bunch was the key to a great family experience. I scheduled many sit-down dining experiences so we could cool off, get Magical pictures with our kids' favorite characters, rest and, of course, eat. There are many attractions and activities that will entertain the entire family. You might want to check them out so you can decide. Our 3 year old would take naps in her stroller, but if you're staying at a Disney hotel or close by, it could be a good idea to head back to your room in the afternoon for a nap. I believe they are not too young to visit the most magical place on earth, and a little planning will make it an excellent experience!
