Hi Susan,
I love
character dining! How great is it to have the characters come to you rather than your waiting in line to see them?
When it comes to which character meal, I always selected meals that allowed my children to dine with their favorite characters. One of our favorites was a villain dinner at 1900 Park Fare (sadly, it is no longer offered); it was a perfect match for my family of boys. However, there are lots of other great options:
Lilo & Stich: 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort for breakfast
Mickey & Friends: Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast & dinner
Goofy & Friends: Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort for breakfast
Chip 'n Dale & Friends: Garden Grill at Epcot (PS, this restaurants slowly spins in a circle) for dinner
Winnie the Pooh & Friends: The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom for breakfast, lunch, dinner
Donald Duck & Friends: Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom for breakfast and lunch
Disney Junior Characters like Little Einsteins & Jake the Pirate: Hollywood & Vine for breakfast & lunch
Princesses and/or Mary Poppins/Alice: 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for breakfast & dinner; Akershus Royal Banquet at Epcot for breakfast, lunch & dinner; Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom for breakfast, lunch & dinner
Finally, the Garden Grove at the Swan Resort has a rotation of characters for breakfast (weekends) and dinner.
Happy planning; please let us know if we can help again.
