We are planning a trip to WDW for July 2014 and are planning to camp at Fort Wilderness. A family member has offered use of a pop-up camper, but we would need them to drop it off and pick it up from the resort. Would this be a problem?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How fun to have a magical camping adventure at the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! I would love to do that with my family.

I called and spoke to a cast member at the Fort Wilderness Resort to double check some information for you. Your family member has two options. He can leave the pop-up camper in the overflow parking out front for you to use at your convenience. Or your family member can leave it at your reserved campsite IF it is ready when he arrives.

Your family member will need all the information on your reservation including your name, address, and reservation number. It would also be helpful to add his name in the notes of your reservation once you get the details sorted.

If you need any more assistance planning your Disney vacation, please ask away. Be sure and check out all the wonderful recreational options that Disney's Fort Wilderness has to offer. Enjoy the great outdoors!
