Hi! We are planning a trip at WDW in January 2017! Do you n know when it will be possible to make hotel reservations for those dates? Thank you!

    Bonjour Cynthia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I totally understand the agony of wanting to plan your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort, only to be unable to do so because reservations aren’t available yet!

If you call Walt Disney World Resort, you may be able to get some quotes for “room-only” reservations (i.e. room rates) for some Resorts in January 2017. That being said, you won’t be able to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package (i.e. tickets and Disney Dining Plan) until later this year.

I unfortunately don’t know the exact date that you’ll be able to make a Vacation Package reservation for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort in May 2017. That being said, in previous years, rates and reservations for the following year have typically popped up anywhere from late June to early August. I would keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for up-to-the-minute information about when 2017 dates will be available for booking.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
