We are planning a trip to WDW in Jan '14. We want to have breakfast at CRT, and we understand that we should make reservations 190 days in advance. However, we were informed that 2014 packages won't be available until July. How can we ensure a table?

Hi Casey! Your advanced dining date will be in July and that is generally when they will announce the packages. But that could come earlier or it could come later as nothing is set in stone from year to year.

We often plan a year in advance for our vacations so we simply book a resort room. Once packages or specials are announced we simply change it over at that time. Be sure and never cancel anything until you have the new confirmed. Again generally they will simply make the changeover for you without issue but I never let go of something I need until I have a new confirmation number in hand!

With your room reservation you will have that confirmation available to make any advanced dining reservations that you will need. You likely know what resort you wish to stay at but if that changes when the packages are announced you can change over to another. Your dining reservations will stay with you no matter what. You can monitor all your reservations by setting up your own account with My Disney Experience.

Good luck with your Cinderella's Royal Table reservation. It is certainly a popular one but the time you are going for vacation can be a more quiet time so that should work in your favor!
