We are planning our 1st trip to WDW, and it is hard to plan how long it will take to get from point A to B. With 7:10 reservations at Mama Malone's do we have time to catch the 9:00 show of Fantasmic which is on the other side of Hollywood Studios?

    Hi Maureen,

Let us help you with all these pesky point A to point B questions! We're happy to offer our experiences. Given your scenario, I would not expect you to catch Fantasmic! at 9:00 p.m. Guests often line up an hour prior to showtime and unless you happen to be traveling during a slower time of year, the show very well could be sold out. Assuming you are seated on time (I've typically had a bit of a wait at Mama Melrose, even with Advance Dining Reservations) and you are done with dinner by 8:30, you WILL have time to walk to the theater. Whether or not the show is sold out will become the issue.

Decide what is more important ... dining at Mama Melrose or catching Fantasmic!. Also consider booking the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, allowing you to enjoy both! You'll simply be dining much earlier in the day.

I hope my answer was helpful, Maureen. Let me know what other questions you have as you plan your trip.
