Hi. We are planning a trip to WDW after we have our first child, is there a way that after one parent gets off a ride, the one watching the baby can just get right on the ride like a fast pass thing but for parents? it'll be a couple months old like 4+

    Hi Tristan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! Congratulations on the impending arrival of your first child - you’re in for quite an adventure!

I’m happy to say that Walt Disney World Resort offers a great service for parents just like you, called the Rider Switch Service. The way that it works is that you’ll be assigned an electronic return window based on the attraction’s current wait time. You and your spouse can wait in the attraction’s “standby queue” (or use one of your FastPass+ selections) and then the other parent who didn’t get a chance to ride will be able to access the FastPass+ with their Rider Switch pass once their return window opens.

You’ll be able to check the status of your return window by checking your My Disney Experience app while you’re in the Parks. And remember, everyone who would like to have a Rider Switch pass needs to be present when they’re assigned. Plus, you can only hold at a time… so make sure you choose your attraction wisely!

If you’d like to use this service, please ask the Cast Member at the attraction entrance to see whether it’s offered there and to get more information about how it works.

    Have a Magical Day,
