    We are planning a trip to WDW in February. MK shows that it's closing at 6 pm Feb 12, 2018. Why is it closing so early and only on that date

    So happy to have you visit with is again! 

    Often Disney will have special events that are closed off to guests and are only available to Cast Members or other special guests. 

    Disney takes pride in showing Cast Members so much love, magic and pixie dust and closing down one of the theme parks for a few hours to do that, sometimes causes our enjoyment in the parks to be cut a little short. 

    Also, Disney Springs will be open that day and more than likely it will be open pretty late. I always enjoy people watching and eating some really tasty food at The BOATHOUSE. Oh, and don't forget about a boat ride in an Amphicar!
