We are planning a trip to WDW February 12-17th. Any idea why such low hotel options in the value resorts for this time? Advice?

    Hi Elizabeth,

How exciting that you'll plan to enjoy a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Only a few months away, so let's get planning!

There are several seasons at the Resort, and the first half of February is considered value season. However, occupancy goes right up once you hit President's Weekend. For 2017, this happens on February 16. Many Guests may even stretch the long weekend and have a weeklong vacation. Our friends at mouseavers.com have a comprehensive list of all seasons and rates. Of course, you should be aware that these are subject to change.

There's also some great Special Offers available for that time of the year, and many Guests are already taking advantage of them. Your best bet is to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package which you can do online, by calling a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or with your travel agent.

One last tip: if you haven't yet, make advanced dining reservations. The My Disney Experience mobile app makes this a breeze. Happy planning!
