Planning a trip to WDW in Feb/Mar 2012. Would love to see the flower & garden festival at Epcot, but worried about crowds. If we came end of Feb or first week in March, would we miss the beautiful decor of shrubs and flowers? Thanks so much!!!

    Hi Amber,

I've been to the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival a number of times in recent years and I would heartily encourage you to postpone your trip until March 7th or thereafter so that you can enjoy all that the Festival has to offer.  While the amazing horticulturalists do begin to install some of the gardens and topiaries before the first day of the festival, you'll miss most of the floral displays and all of the special events and concerts if you come in late February or the first week of March.

Since Easter occurs in April in 2012, you should be able to find reasonable crowd levels in the Disney parks during the early weeks of the Flower & Garden Festival.  I hope you'll be able to work out your schedule so that you can attend the Festival this coming year.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
