Hi Whitney!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! When you're traveling with a group, it's important that nobody gets left behind or forgotten. Luckily, there are a few options to make room requests so you can enjoy making magical memories together!
Whitney, you can make room requests during the
Online Check-In process, by
calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, or by speaking with the Front Desk when you arrive. While room requests cannot be guaranteed, Cast Members are happy to do their best to try and accommodate. When making your request, you can choose to request connecting or adjoining rooms. Connecting rooms have an interior door between them while adjoining rooms are located near each other. Available room requests during the Online Check-In process do sometimes vary, so if you don't see it there a quick phone call to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations will be the best way to note that request before arriving.
Since you're traveling with a larger party, I also wanted to share a few tips about the new
Lightning Lane passes that may be helpful. If one person in the group is making plans for everyone, it's important to know that all Lightning Lane selections must initially be the same. Once purchased, you can then modify choices (based on availability) if some people want to experience different attractions. Don't forget that as a Guest staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can start making those pre-arrival selections and purchases seven days before checking in!
Whitney, I hope this helps you plan a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by to see us again here at planDisney if you have any other vacation planning questions!
See ya real soon!
