    Hi, I am planning a trip to WDW for my family of 3 for December 2011. Is this a good time of year to go and is the weather in Fl nice that time of year? This will be our first trip to WDW and plan on a 7-day stay.

    Anytime of year is a good time to visit Walt Disney World!!!!

    December is a fantastic time to visit.  There are seasonal events happening in December, my personal favourite is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

    The weather in December varies year to year.  I was there this past December and it was cold. Now, I am from Canada so it wasn't Canada cold but there was a cold snap.  The lows get down to 50 degrees.
    The best advice is to check the long range forecast before you leave so you can pack accordingly.

    You will have a fantastic time no matter when you visit!
