We are planning a trip to WDW in early June. Will be mainly at MK. Girls are 6 and 8. Would it be worth the extra money to stay at the BC or Yacht because of pool? We were thinking WL because we love it there, but my girls love to swim. Thank you!

    Hi Daphne,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Choosing a Walt Disney World Resort is a difficult choice, they all offer wonderful theming and amenities, but your final choices are great!  Which ever you choose, I'm sure you will have a magical time, you can't go wrong with either choice.

For my family, where we stay isn't always based on finances, we take into account convenience and experience.  Given you are planning on spending the majority of your time at the Magic Kingdom, I would suggest staying at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  It is significantly closer to the Magic Kingdom, and is accessible by boat.  The pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is not as large or fancy as the pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort, but it is still fabulous.  I'm sure you won't be disappointed.  Take a look at the photos, and you can decide if it is a resort you would like visiting.

On the other hand, Disney's Beach Club Resort is absolutely beautiful and the pool is my favourite pool on Walt Disney World Property.  If you do not mind traveling a little longer to the Magic Kingdom, and prefer the theming at Disney's Beach Club Resort, it may be worth the extra money.

I hope you have a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Daphne. Whatever you chose, you will make memories that will last a lifetime.  If you have any other questions, please let me know, I would be happy to help.
