Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ann! It looks like you are in for one merry holiday. There are so many amazing ways to get around Walt Disney World Resort!
The iconic monorail serves both Epcot and Magic Kingdoms, as well as 3 Disney Resorts: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Also in the “Magic Kingdom area” are the boats serving Disney’s Fort Wilderness, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, as well as the Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resorts. A second boating area serves Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios connecting Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Beach & Yacht Clubs as well as the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. Lastly, there is Boat service at Disney Springs to the Port Orleans Resort area. Depending on which Disney Resort you stay at, that will determine which kinds of transportation you can use directly from the Resort. You can always pull up a destination in My Disney Experience Mobile App, and after selecting it, you can GET DIRECTIONS and see all the
types of transportation serving the area. Personally, my favorite Resort to stay at is Disney’s Polynesian Resort, where I take the small boats directly to Magic Kingdom, making quick work of the distance. My personal record is 15 minutes from my room door to the touch points of the Park; it was super efficient! Of course, if none of these suit you, you can always open your LYFT app and call a beautifully polka-dotted Minnie Van to whisk you to your destination. They are stylish service with a smile!
