Planning our trip to WDW, my daughter is 3, and I am wondering which stroller to take. We have her full size graco stroller or the compact umbrella stroller. Just wondering which would be the best when traveling by bus back and forth to the park/resort?

Hi Aimee!  When my daughter was 3, we always brought our full size stroller.  I found it was a lot more comfortable for her to sit in during the day.  If she was tired, I was able to lean it back for her to take a nap in.  I also loved the cup holders and tray for snacks and drinks throughout the day.  Also, our full size stroller had a basket underneath so we stashed all of our belongings down there and we didn't have to carry a backpack around with us.

If you are staying on Walt Disney World property and plan to take the buses to and from your resort, you will have to fold down either size stroller before you board the bus.  It isn't that much more work bringing the full size stroller on the bus, it just takes up a little more room.  I think you see more full sized strollers than umbrella strollers on the bus, no one really minds.  My daughter is 6 now and we still bring a full size stroller with us to the parks.  It is really convenient to have.

If I were you, I would bring the full size stroller so she is more comfortable during the day!  Have a great vacation and if I can answer any other questions for you, let me know!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
