We are planning a trip to WDW in August 2012 and we plan on staying on resort. We have 3 children and 2 adults on trip. So I don't know if we will be able to stay all day at parks or have to go back to resort for naps. How often does shutte run?

    Hi Candy!

Staying on Walt Disney World property has sooo many benefits!  In my opinion, one of the best is the FREE transportation from the resorts to the parks.  Depending on which resort you are staying in, you will need to take a monorail, boat or bus to the theme parks.  They all run continuously throughout the day and into the night, with the buses arriving about every 20 minutes or so.

I was always fortunate that my kids were very heavy sleepers and fell asleep in their strollers without fail!  However, Walt Disney World can really wear even the most active travellers out and naps can be a necessity.  If heading back to your resort in the afternoon for naps is a "must do" for your kiddos, fear not!  You will have absolutely no problem getting back and forth from the parks conveniently.  Have a fabulous vacation!
