We are planning a trip to WDW in August '08 with our family to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. We would like to dine at the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. Are reservations required? What Grand Gathering experiences do you recommend? THANK YOU!

    Laura,

I would highly recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations at the Liberty Tree Tavern. This is a character meal featuring a family-style meal in a colonial atmosphere.

For an anniversary celebration, try the International Dinner Reception and Illuminations Dessert Party. Let them know you are celebrating a special occasion. Dessert parties for Illuminations are delightful. We had a magical dessert party for our 10th anniversary vow renewal. I can’t say enough how wonderful it is to see Illuminations from a private area while enjoying delectable desserts.

I hope your parents have a truly memorable Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary!
