I am planning my trip to WDW Aug 5 thru Aug 11. What are the crowds like during this time. I was not sure if school would be back in. Also what is the weather like during this time. This trip is for my birthday.

    Hey Tiffany!

The crowds are usually heavy for those first couple of weeks in August.  Up here in North Georgia our kids begin school that week...so there is the possibility that more school systems are moving to that schedule and the crowds may be lighter than they have been historically. But still plan on heavy crowds!

August is going to be hot & humid! Luckily, you are from Georgia like me and this weather isn't going to be a huge stretch from what we are used to in August here!  Bring shorts, t-shirts and lots of sunscreen!

There is also the possibility of pop up rain showers in the afternoons.  We bring rain ponchos that fold up small in our bags or you can buy them at any of the Disney gift shops.

I hope you have a great trip and a great birthday this August!
