Planning a trip to WDW Aug 12-18 w/2 boys 3 and 1 and deciding on a hotel. We are debating bet. the new Art of Animation and Animal King. Lodge. Is there a king bed avail. in the new Cars suite? Is the deluxe dining plan too much for 2 adults & a 3 yr ol

Hi Lisa! The concept art for the new Disney's Art of Animation Resort looks amazing! My family and I can not wait to stay there on an upcoming trip! It looks like the only room options that have a king bed will be the standard rooms in the Little Mermaid section of the resort. The new Cars themed suites are supposed to have a queen bed or two double beds. The new resort will be a Disney Value Resort, while the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a spectacular Disney Deluxe Resort with standard rooms and Deluxe Villas! The services and amenities at the lodge are fabulous; it has three of the best Table Service restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. It also has an outstanding pool and exotic animals right outside. Of course, it does also cost more than a stay at the Art of Animation Resort. The Deluxe Dining Plan is a lot of food and with two young children, you may not want to be tied down to a lot of Table Service restaurants. I recommend that you consider the standard Disney Dining Plan or the Quick Service Dining Plan instead. I hope this helps. Write back if you have any more questions!
